Why we built it
In 2017, shipping a parcel across Asia was expensive, opaque and slow.
We were not satisfied with the e-commerce logistics industry in 2017. In 2018 we set out to make exceptional logistics services affordable, accessible and straightforward to use, starting with a single lane: Korean cosmetics brands selling into Indonesia.
What did Aersure do?
Aersure gave online merchants of any size one process and one dashboard for shipping across borders in Asia-Pacific. Behind each lane it coordinated a network of logistics partners, which grew to 18+ within six months.
How did it grow?
Aersure was bootstrapped. It doubled its partner network in its first six months, expanded beyond Southeast Asia to China, Korea and Australia within eight months, and signed three marketplace deals within 16 months.
What happened to Aersure?
AB Holdings exited Aersure in April 2021, after the business closed 2020 with over USD 3.2 million in revenue. The aersure.com website is no longer active.
